As we are aligning our training fleet with more environmentally friendly engines, we are now selling this reliable DA20-C1\/G500 from 2011, in top-notch shape. Sleek but sturdy training workhorse as well as a slippery personal VFR touring machine.<\/p>\n

Data as of 03-Apr-2025 and subject to change, as this workhorse is out on the field! Available for inspection in Finland (EFLA), time of delivery to be agreed.<\/p>\n

Airframe<\/strong><\/p>\n

  • TTSN 3048 h<\/li>\n
  • Year of manufacture 2011. Serial no C0597.<\/li>\n
  • ARC valid till 26-Oct-2025.<\/li>\n
  • 50-hour inspection performed on 03-Apr-2025 at 3048 h TTAF.<\/li>\n
  • 200-hour inspection\/annual performed at 3002 h TTAF, along with\n
      \n
    • new safety harnesses (seat belts)<\/li>\n
    • new bellcrank assys in the flap mechanism — improved, safer design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • 1000-hour inspection performed on 13-Jul-2023 at 2724 h TTAF, so plenty of hours left till the next one at 3724 h TTAF.<\/li>\n
    • This DA20-C1 is called an \u201cEclipse\u201d and has rear windows.<\/li>\n
    • Approved for intentional spins — great for CPL, A-UPRT training and for instructor courses!<\/li>\n
    • MTOM 800 kg, BEM only 553.2 kg => plenty of useful load.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Engine<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Injected Continental IO-240-B Continental engine with 420 h left to TBO (2200 h), but under Finland (OH) registry even commercial schooling is possible for 50% beyond TBO, and in private use even longer. (Aircraft can be kept in OH registry!)<\/li>\n
      • The engine was shock-load inspected after a prop strike 100 h ago; no shock load damage had occurred, but in conjunction with the SLI, the engine got new magnetos, new gears and lifters, etc., due to prior wear\/minor corrosion. Engine is thus almost like overhauled, ensuring operation way beyond TBO hours. The 12-year calendar time limit due only in 2031.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
