Prices on this page are as of 2-Jan-2024, until further notice for services delivered in Finland. For prices in Denmark please refer to our Denmark price list.

All prices are inclusive of VAT 24% (Finland) unless otherwise stated. Prices and specifications are subject to change without prior notice. Final price may vary depending on currency exchange rates or crediting for previous experience, for example. Terms and conditions apply. Payment is available in multiple instalments (please contact us for details). A separately signed training agreement always prevails over all information on our web site or other marketing materials.

Note! The general VAT rate in Finland rises from 24 percent to 25.5 percent on September 1, 2024. The prices mentioned on this website for services delivered in Finland include this then-current VAT, unless otherwise specifically stated.

During September 2024, we will keep all previous prices unchanged for new customers/agreements, so that from September 1, 2024, instead of the previous 24%, the same tax-inclusive price will be considered to include 25.5% VAT. After the system changes and pricing calculations that will be made throughout September, end-customer prices can be expected to rise in proportion to the increase in VAT. In other words, September is actually a sale month!

Regarding the invoicing of ongoing training services, the respective training contract applies.

Theory Modules (Professional and Advanced Courses)

IR, CPL and ATPL theory prices include an iPad app for effective offline studying. (iPad device not included.) Theoretical knowledge courses may be purchased in our Web Shop. You will get your online access immediately after payment.

These practical flight modules do not include the respective theory modules, which are priced separately above, and have entry requirements. Prices do not include third-party costs such as Trafi exam fees, examiner’s fee or aeromedical examination fees, or landing fees (relevant at Tampere-Pirkkala, for example).

Private and Light Aircraft Pilot Training

PPL and LAPL courses require no prior flying experience. Prices do not include third-party costs such as Trafi exam fees, examiner’s fee or aeromedical examination fees, or landing fees (relevant at Tampere-Pirkkala for example).

Refresher Training and Other Instruction by the Hour

The lowest hourly prices apply in non-ATO instruction (e.g. refresher instruction, such as type checkouts), when the client already has a valid rating for the type of flying in question and the instruction is not aiming towards a new rating or licence.

Renewal of Expired Ratings, Conversions of non-EASA Licences/Ratings

For preparing an individual training programme (e.g. for renewal of an expired rating, conversion from a non-EASA licence), we charge a one time-fee 190 EUR for a licence/rating renewal syllabus and 450 EUR for a licence conversion syllabus. Please note that if the syllabus cannot be drafted due to reasons unrelated to Aeropole no training will be provided (e.g. client does not provide sufficient documentation or Authority denies approval for the syllabus). For renewal and conversion training we apply the unit prices of the respective approved course. These prices will be confirmed for both instruction and aircraft rental upon the beginning of the training in the individual training programme. More information on conversions and expired ratings.

Aircraft Rental

Aircraft rental prices are given here without instructor charge. Rental prices are wet, including fuel and insurance. We have no joining or yearly membership fees. A fixed 8-minute taxi time will be added to air time in hourly rental. Note that any possible landing etc. airspace/airport fees are not included.

Should you wish to buy aircraft rental hours in bulk in advance, you can do so by paying any amount in excess of 2,000 € onto our bank account, against which you will get a bonus credit onto your client account! The credit on your client account can be used for paying rental flights with any of our aircraft—so instead of buying hours in bulk to a specific aircraft, the credit and bonus are usable on our whole fleet.

Payments are non-refundable and the credit on the account needs to be used within three (3) years of the respective payment. The amount of bonus depends on the amount of payment, as presented on the attached table, and is only accorded for bank transfers or online payments (not for credit card payments). Such payments are valid for aircraft rental and type checkouts/occasional refresher training only, not for complete courses.

For avoidance of doubt, please note: any advance payments for aircraft rental are forfeited after three years of the payment, if not used by then.

Courses will be tailored to your needs and background. Prices will vary depending on previous licences held and exact contents of the course, so contact us for an offer. Third-party fees are given without warranty and Aeropole cannot be held liable for their accuracy or for changes therein.

Terms and conditions apply. If your training is not subject to a signed training agreement, such as would be the norm for complete courses, then Aeropole’s General Conditions of Bookings and Sales will apply both to aircraft rental and charging of instructor time.

An administrative surcharge of 15 € will be added to

invoices in cases where the ordering party desires a change in billed party, billing address or other such information after the invoice has already been issued.
Traficom and any other third-party invoices (e.g. examiner fee for the skill test) that are cycled via Aeropole for any reason — as a rule, they will not be handled by Aeropole. The administrative surcharge is charged by Aeropole for each such invoice. Kindly take care of your own payments to third parties whenever you can, without involving Aeropole in it. (For practical reasons fees invoiced by Finavia are further invoiced by Aeropole to the client without a surcharge.)
